ANNUAL AUDIT
For the financial year ending 31 March 2023, the Council's Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) has been completed. As the gross expenditure for Great Alne Parish Council exceeded £25,000 for the year ending 31 March 2023, GAPC was required to submit the AGAR for a limited assurance review by the external auditor, Moore UK.
GAPC held its Annual Meeting on 18 May 2023 - at this meeting the Annual Governance and Accounting Statements were approved and the parish council approved the prepared accounts and report of the internal auditor. The completed AGAR was submitted to the external auditor on 24 May 2023.

The AGAR and all accounting records are available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of Great Alne Parish Council between Monday 5 June 2023 and Friday15 July 2023.
