UPDATE 3RD JULY 2020
It is with regret that the Parish Council have decided to keep the playground closed at this time. Whilst the Coronavirus restrictions have eased, the government guidance on re-opening play facilities is extensive and, having considered this guidance, the Parish Council feel that it is not possible at this stage to re-open the play facilities in a way to guarantee the safety of children, parents, carers and PC staff. Should you have any queries, please contact the clerk at greatalne.parishcouncil@

A team of 25+ volunteers from Great Alne are ready and waiting to help you with shopping, picking up prescriptions, dog walking or simply being a friendly voice at the end of the phone. PLEASE, do not struggle. If you need any help, just call 07707 598 379 where someone will be happy to access the support network. If you are currently helping neighbours/friends outside of this support network, we urge you to share this number with them anyway.
